Ninja Air Fryer Recipes

Every air fryer recipe here works in a Ninja — Foodi, Dual Zone AF400 or the single-basket models. They are published by UK home cooks and tagged Air Fryer, so you get the times and temperatures they actually used rather than a converted oven recipe.

Cooking in a Dual Zone? Put the item that takes longest in zone 1 on Air Crisp, the quicker side in zone 2, and hit Sync so both drawers finish at the same moment. On a Foodi, use Air Crisp for anything you want golden and Roast when you would rather the food stayed soft in the middle.

Ninja air fryer questions

How do I use both drawers on a Ninja Dual Zone?
Cook the longer item in zone 1 and the quicker one in zone 2, then use Sync so both finish together. Match Crisp for chips and proteins, and Roast for vegetables you want softer.
Do Ninja air fryers need preheating?
Most Ninja models heat quickly, so 2–3 minutes on Air Crisp is plenty for chips, chicken and anything breaded. Bakes and casserole-style dishes work fine from cold.
What temperature should I use in a Ninja air fryer?
As a rule of thumb, take a fan oven recipe, drop the temperature by about 20°C and cut the time by roughly a fifth. Shake the basket halfway and check early the first time.
Can I use foil or baking paper in a Ninja Foodi?
Yes, as long as it is weighed down by food so it cannot fly into the element, and it never blocks the whole basket — the air still needs to circulate underneath.
