MANDJIFY is operated by an individual sole trader based in the United Kingdom, acting as the data controller for the personal data described on this page. That means we are responsible for deciding how your personal data is collected and used. You can contact the controller at topchefs@mandjify.com for any privacy question or request.

Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. We rely on the following bases:

• Contract — creating and running your account, publishing your recipes, delivering unlocked content, and providing customer support.
• Legitimate interest — keeping the service secure, preventing fraud and abuse, and improving MANDJIFY (e.g. debugging, aggregate analytics). We balance this against your rights and you can object at any time.
• Legal obligation — retaining payment and accounting records where UK tax and financial law requires it.
• Consent — only if we introduce optional marketing emails or similar communications in the future. You would be able to withdraw consent at any time.

We do not sell your personal data.

• Supabase — database, authentication, file storage.
• Stripe — payments and creator payouts.
• Lovable — hosting and deployment infrastructure.

These providers act as processors on our behalf under their own terms and appropriate safeguards. Some may transfer data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete your data (right to erasure) — you can delete your account yourself from your profile settings.
• Restrict or object to certain processing, including anything based on legitimate interests.
• Data portability — receive a copy of the data you have provided in a common format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

We use cookies and local storage for authentication and to remember your preferences. We don't run third-party advertising trackers.

We keep your data as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, recipes, and uploads within 30 days. Some records (e.g. payment transactions and invoices) are kept longer where UK tax and accounting law requires it.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal data, please contact us first at topchefs@mandjify.com so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
